Brief: Develop a series of book covers that clearly convey the topic you have chosen.
The theme of this book series involves a celebrity that is well known in the chosen decades I had for my topic. This was originally aimed to be fashion of the decade but it now depicts the iconic celebrities.
Decade's Celebrities is a conceptual book design about three icons from three different decades. It depicts their personal lives, their iconic moments during their lifetime, their works, etc.
1980's cover includes Michael Jackson.
1990's cover includes Princess Diana.
2000's cover includes Taylor Swift.
Series 2
This series was the official series I went with at the end but Decade's Celebrities was my personal favourite out of the 3 themes I was working on.
Decade's Tragedies is a conceptual book design about specific tragedies that occurred. It depicts imagery of the events, newspaper articles, witnesses' statements, etc. These are informative books to teach young generations the events of the disasters.
1980's cover includes the Space Shuttle Disaster of 1986.
1990's cover includes the Columbine School Shooting of 1999.
2000's cover includes the 9/11 Attacks of 2001.
